Irvine, California — July 15, 2024 — Spectrum Education held two engaging lectures over the weekend to offer students and parents insights into military academy admissions and traditional Chinese music culture.

The first session featured a student from Santa Margarita Catholic High School who was recently accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy. The student shared his high school journey, covering academic and extracurricular experiences, the military academy application process, and insights into its training structure. The lecture aims at providing guidance for students interested in pursuing a military education.

The second lecture was led by Chinese Guqin master Geng Du, who brought his personal collection of traditional instruments to introduce the history and charm of Chinese classical music. Mr. Geng's presentation allowed attendees to experience Guqin art and traditional of cultural heritage.
