加州尔湾——2024年6月12日——光谱教育带领学生们前往NASA喷气推进实验室（JPL），为他们提供了一次难得的近距离职业体验。此次参观活动让学生们深入了解了科学家们如何设计、测试和操作探索太空的先进设备。学生们在参观过程中，尤其对中央控制台印象深刻，仿佛置身电影场景，让他们感受到了科学探索的神秘和震撼。

此次活动中，我们非常荣幸邀请到NASA首席科学家蒋教授担任导师，带领学生参观并深入讲解JPL实验室的日常科研工作。蒋教授是加州理工学院喷气推进实验室气溶胶和云研究组的负责人，也是美国《地球与空间科学》期刊主编。他与科研团队在卫星观测技术和空间科学研究方面成就卓著，并曾两次荣获美国宇航局的杰出贡献勋章。

光谱教育希望通过这样的职业体验活动，激发学生们对科学的兴趣，并帮助他们理解职业道路的多样性。

Irvine, California — June 12, 2024 — Spectrum Education hosted an exclusive field trip to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), offering students a rare, close-up career experience. During the visit, students observed how scientists design, test, and operate advanced equipment used to explore space. The control center, in particular, left a lasting impression on them, bringing scenes typically seen in movies into reality and highlighting the awe-inspiring nature of scientific discovery.

We were honored to have NASA’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Jiang, as a guide for the day. Dr. Jiang, who leads the Aerosol and Cloud Research Group at Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and serves as editor-in-chief of Earth and Space Science, shared his insights into daily scientific work at JPL. Recognized for his pioneering research in satellite observation technology and space science, Dr. Jiang has received NASA’s Distinguished Public Service Medal twice.
