On May 23, Spectrum Education Group hosted an exclusive online SAT masterclass featuring Ms. Zhang Jinglei, an experienced SAT instructor. The session focused on high-score strategies for SAT preparation and attracted many students and parents who are currently preparing for the exam.
Ms. Zhang has been teaching SAT since 2008. Over the years, she has worked with international divisions of several well-known public schools in Beijing and has built strong experience in classroom teaching and test-prep guidance.
In this masterclass, she focused on some of the most challenging question types in the SAT Reading section, especially inference questions and questions about supporting or weakening evidence. By breaking down real test examples, she helped students understand how these questions work and how to approach them more efficiently.
The session also shared a practical SAT preparation roadmap. It covered how to choose test dates wisely, avoid common mistakes, and plan study schedules based on different English levels. It also discussed key strategies for improving scores from 1500 to 1550.
Many students said the most helpful part was that the session made their preparation plan clearer and more actionable. Parents also found the guidance useful for understanding the SAT and supporting their children’s study planning.
