Irvine, California — October 2024. Spectrum Education held an engaging creative photography workshop titled “A Journey Across Science and Art.” The workshop featured Professor Xun Chi, the current rotating chair of the Association of Chinese Artists in American Academia, who delivered two hours of in-depth artistic insights to the students.

During the session, Professor Chi covered a range of topics, from general relativity and Bauhaus principles to Saint Laurent advertising photography and Japanese aesthetics. He demonstrated how science and art intertwine, encouraging students to discover unique perspectives in everyday life. Through examining diverse photographic styles from various cultures and movements, Professor Chi guided students on how to cultivate interdisciplinary creativity and apply it to practical challenges.

This workshop not only inspired students’ enthusiasm for art but also deepened their understanding of interdisciplinary thinking and its potential applications.
